ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

Manage financial closing, consolidation, forecasting, and budgeting for the Group while driving digitalisation and ensuring compliance with local and overseas financial regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform monthly and yearly closing of accounts for the investment holding company in Singapore

Oversee finance operations of the Group’s overseas entities to ensure accurate financial management

Consolidate Group financial results quarterly to support reporting and decision-making

Develop and manage forecasting and budgeting processes to guide financial planning

Lead digitalisation initiatives to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency

Coordinate and communicate with external parties to facilitate financial and compliance activities

Assist in implementing internal controls, accounting processes, and procedures to strengthen financial governance

Ensure compliance with local and overseas financial legal requirements and tax filings

Prepare Group cash flow statements to monitor liquidity and financial health

Execute other ad-hoc finance duties as required to support business needs

Required competencies and certifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and bookkeeping

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and external parties

Attention to detail with meticulous accuracy in financial tasks

Team player with a hands-on attitude to contribute actively to finance operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Degree in Accountancy or higher qualification

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance

Experience in the construction industry

Knowledge of Sage 300 software

Working environment

Office-based

5.5-day work week with alternate half-day Saturday
