About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to join our finance team in Kwai Chung, Kwai Tsing District on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role within our financial operations, where you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's reporting requirements. The Accountant will work closely with senior finance staff to ensure compliance with accounting standards and contribute to the financial health and decision-making of Team Well Logistics Limited.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts on a regular basis
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Maintaining accurate and organised financial records and supporting documentation
• Performing data entry and verifying the accuracy of financial information in accounting systems
• Assisting with the audit process by preparing required schedules and documentation
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc projects and analysis as required
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations
• Liaising with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors, as necessary

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, such as an HND or degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent recognised qualification, or demonstrated progression towards such qualifications
• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally 2-4 years in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work efficiently with financial systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all financial work
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, generally accepted accounting practice, and financial reporting standards
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
• Knowledge of Hong Kong tax and employment regulations is advantageous
