Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented, responsible, and experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our growing Cosmetics & Makeup Distribution Company . The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting practices in Nepal, including VAT, TDS, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain sales, purchase, expense, inventory, and payment records.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including collection and payment follow-ups.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper cash and bank records.
• Handle VAT, TDS, tax-related documentation, and other statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and relevant government authorities.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Support inventory and financial control processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, BBS, or a related field .
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience .
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese accounting, VAT, TDS, and taxation practices .
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP software and MS Excel .
• Experience in FMCG, cosmetics, trading, retail, or distribution will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality.
