ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Account Officer to manage the company's financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across its Oil & Gas and Construction business activities.

SUCCESSFUL PROFILE
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Strong and verifiable accounting and financial management experience.
• Previous experience working in the Oil & Gas or Construction industry is compulsory.
• Proven ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent documentation, invoicing, and financial record-keeping capabilities.
• Ability to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports accurately.
• Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, tax regulations (PAYE, WHT, VAT) and internal controls.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate high integrity and confidentiality.
• Professionalism, discretion and strong stakeholder-management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA or ACA will be a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Construction industry is compulsory.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books or SAP will be highly advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Pay: ₦250,000.00 per month
