Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our school. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, hands-on experience in school accounting, and the ability to handle financial records accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities of the school
• Handle student fee collection, reconciliation, and outstanding tracking
• Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and vouchers
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Manage payroll processing and salary disbursement
• Handle statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI (if applicable)
• Assist in audits and coordinate with auditors
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenses
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data
• Coordinate with management for financial planning and reporting

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com
• Experience: Minimum 3 years
• Experience in school / educational institution accounting (Preferred)

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation
• Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently
