Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Report to the Accounting Manager
• Handle full set of accounts and perform month-end closing
• Prepare financial and management reports, monthly schedules and analysis
• Supervise accounting staff in the daily processing of AR/AP/GL transactions
• Handle intercompany transactions and perform monthly intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare various monthly reports and assist in forecasting and annual budgeting
• Handle daily banking transactions and monitor cash flow
• Participate in ad hoc projects

Job Requirements

• Degree or above in Accountancy or a related discipline
• Currently pursuing the HKICPA QP exams, a mid-level ACCA qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification
• A minimum of 4-5 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in the forwarding/logistics industry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge in VBA / macros is an advantage)
• Good command of English and Chinese, preferably including Mandarin
• Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently, and meet deadlines
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Accountant
• Immediate availability is preferred
