Role Description The Accountant role at Al Jabri Plastic Factory is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The Accountant prepares invoices, monitors accounts receivable and payable, and supports payroll and expense reporting. The role includes assisting with month-end and year-end closing, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and cost-control activities related to manufacturing operations. The Accountant will collaborate with production, procurement, and management teams to ensure accurate financial data, compliance with relevant regulations, and timely reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in general accounting, including journal entries, ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, reporting, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting processes, and basic cost accounting in a manufacturing context.
• Understanding of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in the UAE.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is preferred.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
