What they need
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, ledgers, and accounting documents.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flows.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Prepare and monitor invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment requests.
- Assist in payroll preparation and the reconciliation of payroll-related records.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist in preparing and filing BIR tax returns and other required government reports.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and other relevant parties when necessary.
- Monitor expenses and help ensure compliance with company budgets and financial policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial schedules and supporting documents for audits.
- Learn and take over assigned accounting responsibilities through proper training and turnover before the current Accountant's maternity leave.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by Management.
