Accountant

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Manage Fees: Oversee student fee collection, track outstanding balances, and issue invoices or receipts.
• Handle Payroll: Process monthly salaries, allowances, deductions, and benefits for teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor daily school expenses, vendor payments, and utility bills.
• Budgeting: Assist the management in preparing annual school budgets and tracking expenditures against the budget.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
• Taxation & Compliance: Handle tax filings (like TDS, GST if applicable), PF (Provident Fund), and ESI compliance as per govt rules.
• Audit Support: Prepare financial records and coordinate with external auditors for annual school audits.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting (m.com Finance is a plus).
• Experience: 2–5 years of working experience as an accountant (Experience in an educational institution is highly preferred).
• Software Knowledge: Strong expertise in accounting software like Tally Prime or ERP systems, and Advanced Excel .
• Skills: Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills, along with strong communication skills to interact with parents and management.

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
