Accountant

Our client, an FDI logistics company, is looking for a Junior Accountant to handle daily accounting, VAT invoices, AP/AR, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Location: District 1, HCMC

Key Responsibilities

• Record, update, and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare, issue, and manage VAT invoices.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely tracking and reconciliation.
• Review bank statements and investigate any discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support Vietnam tax compliance and reporting, including VAT, PIT, CIT, and FCT, as well as communication with tax authorities.
• Coordinate with external tax agents and auditors, providing the necessary supporting documents and information.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using MISA accounting software.
• Undertake other accounting and administrative tasks as required.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Good knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and Vietnamese tax regulations.
• Previous accounting experience in the international freight forwarding industry is required. Experience working for a multinational or global freight forwarding company is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with MISA accounting software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and auditors, and to communicate financial information clearly.
• Working proficiency in both English and Vietnamese, including written and verbal communication.
