Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 23 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial record maintenance, GST, TDS, and day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, MS Excel, and accounting software such as Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and other financial documents.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate bank records.
• Assist with GST returns, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Maintain ledgers, journal entries, cash books, and general accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
• Manage petty cash and monitor daily cash transactions.
• Verify bills, expenses, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding payments and outstanding dues.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax-related requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial records.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
