Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Experience in construction accounting is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations
• Handle daily banking transactions and financial records
• Reconcile vendor and subcontractor accounts and ensure timely payments
• Assist in tax filings, audits, and statutory compliance requirements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist in preparation of financial reports for management
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year accounting experience (construction industry is an advantage)
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Willing to work in a fast-paced construction environment
