About the role

Supervise the operation of all financial affairs of The Salvation Army Social Services, Incorporated (TSASSI) under the direction of the Finance Manager (FM), including at the least, treasury, budgeting, accounting and financial reporting programs, which will provide accurate and timely reports to leadership and department heads supporting sound decision-making and ensuring appropriate public disclosure and accountability, achieving the territorial mission goals and objectives. Such supervision must ensure that all aforementioned financial activities are in accordance with the requirements of TSA's accounting and operating principles, policies and procedures, the Philippine Accounting Standards, the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and all related laws.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees the National Office's accounting operations and provides technical support to other TSA units' Bookkeepers
• Preparer of financial reports and analyses
• Assists in the supervision of treasury activities
• Supervises the Bookkeepers
• Compliance officer of the department
• Chief support to the FM in Finance department's operations and in delivering its expected outputs
