Accountant

• Perform daily financial transactions including journal, receipts, vouchers, payments, expenses and invoices.
• Perform bank reconciliations & reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
• Verify supplier invoices, bills and payment requests before processing.
• Maintain accurate records of advances, reimbursements, receivables & payables and outstanding balances.
• Prepare expense reports, cash-flow statements and other management reports.
• Identify and report unusual transactions, discrepancies and cost variations.
• Assist in preparing tax-related records, withholding tax statements and other statutory reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial records.
• Monitor cash balances and report discrepancies to the reporting manager.
• Ensure financial transactions are supported by appropriate approvals and relevant documents.
• Follow company policies regarding financial authorization and expenditure controls.
• Submit monthly reports within the approved deadlines with minimal errors.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tax and statutory documentation.
• Identify and report budget variances and unusual expenses.
• Monitor overdue receivables and unresolved payables and report them regularly.

Professional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills

Qualification:

• BBA or MBA: Finance, Commerce or a related field.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience of a reputed organization.
• Experience in accounting software or ERP systems will be preferred.

Pay: From Rs80,000.00 per month
