Accountant

About the role

As a Accountant at Benoit & Partners, you will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting for multiple corporate clients, independently preparing monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Thai accounting and tax regulations, and working closely with our Accounting Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage full-cycle accounting for multiple client companies
• Prepare complete monthly and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and supporting schedules
• Perform monthly and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare trial balances, general ledgers, and financial reconciliations
• Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and submit monthly tax filings, including PND 1, 3, 53, 54, PP30, and PP36, where applicable
• Prepare annual corporate income tax returns (PND 50) and half-year corporate income tax returns (PND 51)
• Communicate directly with Thai and international clients regarding accounting and tax matters
• Record and review accounting transactions using FlowAccount, Express, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
• Report directly to the Accounting Manager

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably with an accounting firm or outsourcing service provider
• Proven experience independently handling full-set accounting and preparing annual financial statements
• Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax regulations
• Experience preparing monthly and annual financial closing reports
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Express, FlowAccount, QuickBooks, or Xero
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate with international clients
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple client accounts
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and meet strict reporting deadlines
