Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and practices, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications (especially Excel), and comfort working with spreadsheets and financial data.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support month-end and year-end closures.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners in a professional manner.
• Ability to work ethically with confidential financial information and adhere to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications in accounting or finance are an advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-4 years of experience in accountancy or a related field (book keeping).
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in using software such as Tally ERP9, MS Excel, etc. for data entry and record-keeping purposes.
