Position Overview

SVTN Group is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. Candidates with prior experience in the construction or infrastructure industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and financial summaries.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Monitor project-related expenses, vendor payments, and outstanding receivables.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Ensure accuracy of financial documentation and adherence to applicable regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• B.Com or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and taxation.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Construction or infrastructure industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
