Accountant

About the Role

Kuniya Group of Institutions (KGI) is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage the accounts and financial records of the Gorup/institutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Tally, a good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance, and a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts and financial records using Tally
• Handle GST and TDS calculations, returns and filings
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements
• Process payroll and maintain related records
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timely filings
• Prepare financial statements, MIS and reports for management
• Coordinate with auditors and support audits
• Maintain accurate accounting documents and vouchers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or any relevant discipline (minimum)
• Professional Diploma or Certification in Accounting

Experience

• 6 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with Tally and computerised accounting
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel

Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, payroll and statutory compliance
• Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
