Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting and practical knowledge of Tally. . The ideal candidate should have a strong willingness to learn the ins and outs of the jewellery business, including jewellery accounting, inventory management, gold and diamond stock handling, and day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries using Tally.
• Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain invoices, vouchers, ledgers, and other financial records.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and GST-related accounting.
• Learn and manage jewellery stock records, including gold, diamonds, and other precious metals.
• Understand jewellery-specific transactions, including weight-based stock, purity, wastage, making charges, and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate with the sales, purchase, and inventory teams.
• Ensure accuracy in financial records and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting.
• Working knowledge of Tally is essential.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of Excel and basic GST accounting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and a responsible attitude.
• Must be eager to learn the jewellery business and its accounting processes.
• Fresh ideas, adaptability, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities are welcome.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
