Accountant

We are currently hiring a Accountant for a very well known US Company in the construction field.

Responsibilities

-Enter AP invoices into Timberscan

-Review of AP invoices in Timberscan for accuracy as follows:

• Invoices are coded to the corrected vendor
• Invoice amounts match what has been entered
• Materials and/or services are coded to the correct job
• Materials and/or services are coded to the correct job cost code
• Expenses are coded to the correct general ledger account
• Discount amounts stated on the invoice match the discount entered
• Payment dates per the invoice match what has been entered

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

-Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping

-Sage 300 accounting software experience preferred

-Timberscan experience preferred

-Construction industry experience preferred

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred

-Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

-Strong organizational skills

-Attention to detail
