Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's daily accounting operations, financial records, invoicing, inventory accounting, and VAT compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience in trading companies, preferably in hotel supplies, hospitality products, or linen trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase invoices, delivery notes, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable, including customer and supplier outstanding balances.
• Follow up on customer payments and coordinate with the sales team regarding overdue accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
• Maintain inventory records and reconcile stock with the warehouse team.
• Monitor stock purchases, sales, returns, and cost of goods sold.
• Assist with monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Prepare VAT calculations, maintain tax records, and assist with UAE VAT return filing.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and ensure compliance with UAE accounting and tax requirements.
• Monitor petty cash, employee expenses, and company credit card transactions.
• Coordinate with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and management teams.
• Assist in budgeting, expense control, and financial planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading company.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and basic corporate tax requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and financial reporting.
• Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
• Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in hotel supplies, hospitality products, hotel linen, F&B supplies, or general trading.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, delivery notes, supplier quotations, and customer credit terms.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and financial accuracy.
