Hiring: General Accountant – Zoho Books

Location: Sharjah, UAE

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant with strong hands-on experience in Zoho Books and a solid understanding of UAE accounting and VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain the general ledger.
• Handle full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, trial balance, and final accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns and perform VAT reconciliations in compliance with UAE FTA regulations.
• Manage monthly closing and financial reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
• Coordinate payroll processing and ensure timely WPS submissions.
• Monitor expenses, support budget control, and analyze financial variances.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Practical experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be available to join immediately.
• Willingness to work on-site in Sharjah.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
