Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to manage the company's financial records, monitor income and expenditure, prepare financial reports, and ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of daily income, expenditure, and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Manage invoicing, receivables, payables, and expense tracking.
• Process payroll and prepare staff payslips.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
• Maintain proper records of loans, advances, and other financial obligations.
• Support tax calculations, statutory payments, and regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with annual accounts preparation and audit requirements.
• Provide financial information to management to support planning and decision-making.

Requirements

• A degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in accounting post NYSC.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
