ACCOUNTANT

About the role

Responsible for managing project financial transactions, accounting records, budget monitoring, and financial reporting to ensure accurate recording of project expenses and compliance with company policies and applicable Philippine accounting and tax regulations. Supports project management in monitoring costs, cash flow, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Record and monitor project financial transactions, expenses, and disbursements.
• Prepare financial reports, budget summaries, and project cost monitoring reports.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, payroll records, and supporting financial documents.
• Reconcile cash advances, petty cash, bank transactions, and project accounts.
• Assist in preparing project budgets, forecasts, and cost variance analyses.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with procurement, payroll, administration, and project management on financial matters.
• Assist in tax compliance, audit requirements, and preparation of statutory financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures, internal controls, and applicable Philippine financial regulations.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related financial course.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.
• Preferably with at least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledgeable in project cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and Philippine tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and capable of meeting reporting deadlines.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling financial information.
• With construction project accounting experience, particularly in budget monitoring, cost control, expense tracking, subcontractor billing, and project financial reporting is prioritized.
