ACCOUNTANT

About the role

This is an accounting position responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and record journal entries, vouchers, and adjustments in the accounting system
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts
• Prepare, monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of actual vs. budget variances
• Prepare and file BIR returns, government remittances, and other regulatory reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clarifications
• Monitor company's cash flow and bank reconciliations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues

About you

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or any Business related course
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, BASE or similar systems)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or financial reporting
• CPA license is an advantage but not required
• Preferably with additional training in financial reporting, taxation, or internal controls
