About Us

High Cube Cargo Containers Trading L.L.C. is a Dubai-based company trading new and used ISO shipping containers, with its own container depot in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 2. We are looking for an accurate and organized Accountant to take full responsibility for our daily accounts, VAT compliance and our move to UAE e-invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Take over and record all daily sales and purchase transactions (around 400 entries per month) accurately in the accounting system
• Issue tax invoices, credit notes and receipts, and make sure every transaction has the correct VAT treatment
• Prepare and file VAT returns on the FTA EmaraTax portal, including reverse charge on imports, and keep records ready for any FTA audit
• Lead the company’s preparation for UAE e-invoicing: work with the Accredited Service Provider (ASP), clean up customer and invoice data, and make sure we are ready before go-live
• Reconcile bank, cash and POS (card) accounts; manage post-dated cheques (PDCs)
• Follow up customer payments and manage supplier payments and statements
• Track container stock from purchase to sale
• Prepare monthly closing, profit & loss, balance sheet and management reports
• Maintain payroll and petty cash records
• Support Corporate Tax records and coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in a trading company
• Hands-on experience filing UAE VAT returns on EmaraTax
• Good understanding of UAE VAT rules (tax invoices, zero-rating, reverse charge, credit notes)
• Knowledge of the UAE e-invoicing requirements is a strong advantage
• Experience with accounting software (Manager.io, Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
• Very high accuracy, good organization and ability to work independently
• Good written and spoken English
• ACCA, CMA or similar qualification is a plus

What We Offer

• Monthly salary: AED 4,000 – 6,000 (based on experience)
• 6 working days per week (Sunday off)
