Role Description Barchart is seeking a staff accountant to join its Finance team. This person will support day-to-day accounting functions primarily associated with invoicing, collections, and

responding to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments. Other duties include assisting in general ledger accounting, bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations, financial statement preparation and review, preparing and reviewing KPIs, and other Accounting and Human Resource projects as they arise. You will work closely with the CFO, the COO and two other finance team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Moderate Microsoft Excel skills
• An eye for details and the ability to deliver accurate output in a timely manner
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and prioritize
• Must be able to come to the Chicago office on most Tuesdays and Thursdays
