Job Description (JD) – Accounts Executive

Experience: 3–5 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Accounts Executive with strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting operations and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
• Handle GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.
• Handle bank reconciliation and vendor/customer account reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, payment, and receipt records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with monthly closing, ledger scrutiny, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory returns.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax compliance.
• Work on accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
• Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting procedures.
• Good knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
• Understanding of statutory compliance and taxation.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
