Job Description

STAR Access Scaffold Installation Works L.L.C – S.P.C is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and organized Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will handle daily accounting transactions, maintain accurate financial records, coordinate invoices and payments, and support the company's financial and administrative operations.

Candidates with experience in the UAE construction, scaffolding, formwork, or contracting industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records and ensure accurate entry of financial transactions.
• Prepare and process customer invoices, supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments and maintain updated receivables reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding invoices, payments, and account statements.
• Perform bank, cash, and supplier/customer account reconciliations.
• Maintain petty cash records and monitor daily expenses.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and account statements.
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, LPOs, purchase orders, and payment records.
• Assist with VAT calculations, VAT return preparation, and other UAE tax-related documentation.
• Coordinate with management and external auditors regarding accounting records and supporting documents.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial documents.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in UAE accounting practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, invoicing, and VAT documentation.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Honest, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Must be available to join immediately.
• Candidates on a visit visa or with a cancelled employment visa will be preferred.

Working Schedule

• Monday to Friday: Full working day
• Saturday: Half working day
• Sunday: Weekly off
