Job Summary

Professional Cool General Maintenance Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in Al Ain, UAE.

The ideal candidate must have previous UAE accounting experience in the construction, general maintenance, or interior fit-out industry, with strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, financial reporting, and UAE taxation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Maintain accurate financial records for construction, maintenance, and fit-out projects.
• Monitor project-wise expenses, budgets, and cost allocations.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and financial reports.
• Manage supplier payments, subcontractor accounts, and customer payment follow-ups.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports.
• Handle UAE VAT calculations, filing preparation, and related compliance.
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax compliance and documentation.
• Coordinate payroll processing and salary-related accounting entries.
• Maintain proper records of purchase orders, supplier invoices, and project expenses.
• Support management with budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure accurate financial documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous UAE accounting experience in construction, general maintenance, or interior fit-out companies is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, job costing, and financial reporting.
• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience handling supplier accounts, subcontractor payments, and project expenses.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to independently manage accounting activities and meet deadlines.
• Candidates residing in Al Ain or willing to relocate are preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: AED 3,000
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday.
• Weekly Off: Sunday.
• Employment benefits as per UAE Labour Law.
