Groundtec is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare invoices, payment records, and reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain proper records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and provide accounting information to management.
• Handle VAT and Corporate Tax records and compliance.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and company records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, auditors, and management.
• Support payroll and other administrative accounting tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE construction/contracting industry – Mandatory.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily accounting tasks.

Preferred:

• Experience in construction, piling, shoring, or contracting companies.
