Accountant (Contract)

Working hours: 8.30am to 6pm

Location: Raffles Place

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
• Responsible for the full set of accounts. Prepare financial statements, reports, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Reconcile accounts, ledgers, and statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies that need to be resolved.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, and prepare tax filings including GST (Goods and Services Tax).
• Support internal and external audits, preparing relevant audit schedules.
• Ensure that all financial activities and reporting adhere to ethical standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments and liaise with external parties (banks, auditors and vendors).
• Participate in ad hoc assignments as required by management.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Experience with XERO accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
