Accountant Executive

About the role

This is a Junior Accountant position based in Bangkok, Thailand, responsible for handling daily accounting operations, supporting financial closing processes, and managing tax filings for the Thailand entity.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, including bank and tax coordination for the Thailand entity
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparation of supporting documents and reports
• Manage VAT, WHT, and CIT filings, and liaise with external accountants/auditors
• Support the business team with financial reconciliation and data verification
• Maintain accurate and complete accounting vouchers, invoices, tax records, and financial documentation
• Assist with internal controls, audits, and process improvement projects
• Provide other financial support as assigned by management

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field; CPD certification is a plus
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience; experience independently handling month-end closing, tax filing, or platform reconciliation is preferred
• Familiarity with Thai accounting and tax fundamentals, including VAT/WHT/CIT filing procedures
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP or accounting systems is a plus
• Working proficiency in English required; Mandarin Chinese for daily communication is a plus
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility, good time management, and cross-departmental communication skills
