Accountant Executive

Job Responsibilities :

* Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts.

* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

* Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including SST, tax, and LHDN e-Invoicing.

* Prepare and review SST returns and related reconciliations.

* Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, JKDM, LHDN, and other relevant authorities.

* Assist in audits, tax reviews, and regulatory matters.

* Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial analysis.

* Review and improve internal controls and accounting processes.

* Maintain accurate financial records and perform other ad hoc finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

* Experience in preparing and maintaining full sets of accounts.

* Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, SST, and LHDN e-Invoicing requirements.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

* Experience dealing with JKDM and LHDN.

* Experience in SST compliance and regulatory matters.

* Experience in hospitality, F&B, property, or multi-entity businesses is an advantage.

* Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
