Accountant General

• Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records in QuickBooks, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including supplier bills, customer invoices, outstanding payments, and collections.
• Perform regular bank, credit card, petty cash, customer, and supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, credit notes, debit notes, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Maintain proper project-wise accounting records, including LPOs, supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, project expenses, and project income.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, aging reports, and other management financial reports using QuickBooks.
• Maintain proper records for UAE VAT, review tax invoices, and coordinate with management/tax consultants for VAT return preparation and compliance.
• Handle petty cash, employee expenses, advances, reimbursements, and payroll-related accounting entries.
• Assist with month-end/year-end closing, audits, financial analysis, and preparation of supporting documents required by management or auditors.
• Ensure all accounting transactions and financial documents are accurately recorded, properly classified, confidential, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
