Accountant (Highway Project)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• CPA is not required; licensed professional is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge in project accounting, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
• Familiar with BIR regulations and government compliance requirements
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle project cost accounting, monitoring, and financial reporting for highway project
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cost variances
• Assist in preparation of billing and progress claims.
• Ensure compliance with BIR requirements and other government regulations
• Reconcile accounts, invoices, and project-related financial records
• Monitor cash flow and support financial forecasting for the project
• Maintain accurate and updated project financial records
• Assist in audits and prepare required financial documentation
• Review supplier and subcontractor billing for accuracy and compliance
• Support management in financial analysis and decision-making for project control
