Accountant Intern

As part of a small and supportive team, you will gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of accounting and administrative activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities;
• Supporting the preparation of management reports, budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations;
• Assisting with payroll, tax, and other accounting-related matters;
• Supporting the team in liaising with auditors and tax agents;
• Assisting with administrative and fund operations matters;
• Supporting the development and maintenance of accounting procedures and controls;
• Conducting research and providing input on accounting and finance-related matters;
• Assisting with various projects and process improvement initiatives;
• Performing ad-hoc accounting and administrative assignments as required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn;
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks;
• Responsible, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information with discretion;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
