Accountant Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage inter-branch accounting entries across different states, bookkeeping, GST compliance, TDS, and general accounting activities. The candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and financial record management.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inter-branch accounting entries and reconciliations for branches located in different states.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledger maintenance and bookkeeping.
• Record and verify general journal entries, payment entries, receipt entries, and other accounting transactions.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely GST compliance.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and related documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliation and reconcile branch-wise accounts.
• Maintain proper records of invoices, vouchers, bills, and other financial documents.
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing, financial reporting, and audit-related activities.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely completion of statutory filings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Prior experience in accounting, GST, TDS, and inter-branch accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, Busy, or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting documentation.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple branch accounts and meet statutory deadlines.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
