Accountant / Junior Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Record and monitor financial transactions in the accounting system
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and account schedules
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow and petty cash transactions
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and tax-related documentation
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, and other relevant parties regarding accounting matters

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and organizational skills
