This role is integral to the financial operations of a multi-entity healthcare organization. As an Accountant III, you will engage in day-to-day accounting functions, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis, while collaborating closely with operational teams. Your expertise will support the monthly close processes and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting across multiple dental practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining organized documentation to support financial integrity.
• Perform balance sheet and bank account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Review and analyze monthly profit and loss results, providing insights to support operational teams.
• Collaborate with various teams to maintain general ledger accuracy and support external audits.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
• 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.
