Accountant (Manufacturing)

Manages day-to-day financial operations, including preparing full-set accounts (manufacturing), financial statements, and tax submissions (SST/income tax). Analyze financial data, manage budgets, and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare full sets of accounts (balance sheet, P&L), monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Compliance & Taxation: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including preparing and filing Sales and Service Tax (SST), income tax, and e-invoicing.
• Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls and policies.
• General Ledger & Variance Analysis: Manage general ledgers, perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies, and investigate unusual transactions.
• Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage cash flow projections and bank reconciliations.
• Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits to ensure accuracy.

Requirements & Skills

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Certification: Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or pursuing one is often preferred.
• Experience: At least 3–5 years of working experience in accounting, with experience in audit firms being a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Language: Strong command of English and/or Chinese to serve Chinese-speaking customers.
• Competencies: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
