Accountant – Meath

Our client, a Premier Ensuite Artisans & suppliers based in Navan require an Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurate and timely matching and posting of banking receipts to the Intact accounting system
• Posting of payments (receipts) into the Intact accounting system
• Enquire and follow-up any discrepancies on banking receipts against the customer ledgers
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Strict adherence to the accounting period close deadlines Filing VAT & RCT Returns
• Completing monthly Debtors & Creditors reconciliation and matching back to Trial Balance
• Posting Sales Invoices and Sending Debtors Statements
• Looking after Motor Vehicle CVRT, Tax and Insurance
• Handle queries from internal staff.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

The successful applicant will have to have a minimum of five years in accounts, excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to deal with high volumes and good use of Microsoft packages, namely Word and Excel.
