Accountant (NGO Sector)

Job Summary:

The Rising Bloom Foundation is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage NGO financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting audit processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling NGO accounts, donations, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, cashbook, and ledgers
• Handle TDS, GST, and Income Tax compliance and filings
• Prepare financial statements and assist in audit processes
• Maintain donation records and donor database
• Manage membership registers and related documentation
• Monitor daily financial transactions and vouchers
• Ensure compliance with NGO financial regulations
• Coordinate with auditors and internal teams
• Prepare periodic financial and MIS reports

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting (NGO experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and Income Tax
• Experience in audit and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred)
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
