Accountant - Odoo

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Accountant with 1-2 years of practical experience in Odoo to manage day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close, and keep our books accurate and audit-ready. You will work directly in Odoo's Accounting, Invoicing, Purchase and Inventory modules and help improve how finance runs on the system.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and process daily transactions in Odoo: sales invoices, vendor bills, payments, receipts and journal entries
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups, aging review and vendor statement reconciliation
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations in Odoo using bank statements and the reconciliation tools
• Post month-end adjustments: accruals, prepayments, depreciation, provisions and FX revaluation
• Sales tax/GST, withholding tax and related returns, with proper tax configuration in Odoo
• Reconcile inventory and purchase/sales valuation with the general ledger (for stock-based businesses)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (B.Com, BBA, ACCA Finalist / CAF(ongoing) or equivalent)
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, including hands-on use of Odoo (v15 or above preferred)
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
• Working knowledge of Pakistan taxation (sales tax, withholding tax) is a plus
• Comfortable with Odoo's Accounting, Invoicing, Purchase, Sales and Inventory modules
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning)
• Good written and spoken English

Pay: Rs45,000.00 per month
