Accountant (Retail)

• Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm
• Basic salary up $5000 + VB
• East Area

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage full-set accounts, including AP, AR, GL and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing, including P&L, balance sheet and management reports.
• Prepare audit schedules, bank reconciliations and supporting financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, GST and corporate income tax requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries and government authorities.
• Coordinate with internal departments on accounting and financial matters.
• Support accounting process improvements and system implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably at Senior Accounts Executive or Accountant level.
• Experience in retail or multi-store operations is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple deadlines and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, organised and possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
