Accountant – Tally Prime & Basic Accounting

Kumar Aluminium is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with basic accounting knowledge and working experience in Tally Prime to manage day-to-day accounting and billing activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, and debit/credit notes.
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
• Handle bank entries, payment receipts, and payment follow-ups.
• Assist with GST entries, reconciliation, and basic GST documentation.
• Maintain purchase and sales registers.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain proper records of invoices and accounting documents.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting and other office activities.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Working knowledge of Tally Prime is essential.
• Basic understanding of GST and invoice preparation.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Honest, punctual, and responsible with assigned work.

Preferred Candidate

• or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in trading or stockist businesses will be an advantage.
