Accountant / Trainee

We are looking for an accountant or part qualified trainee to be a key part of our team. This position is full time and permanent. For the right candidate, a part time position may be considered.

The role involves working in our Ilfracombe based offices for our diverse range of clients including Individuals, Self-Employed, Partnerships and Private Corporations. The candidate will work alongside current management and employees and is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

Duties and responsibilities

Accounts preparation.

Tax Returns.

Business financial strategy advice.

VAT

Client management and communication.

Assisting with Bookkeeping requirements.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with sufficient experience in an accountancy practice. Particular preference is for a qualified candidate or someone with enough experience to be deemed qualified for the role.

The role requires proficiency in the use of computer software such as online bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage), accounts production software and tax production software.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
