Accountant (WFH)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our offshore finance team. The accountant will be responsible for accurate financial data processing, preparing reconciliations and reports, and supporting compliance with accounting policies. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and internal controls.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Full accountability with payroll reconciliations and related deductions.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and process depreciation calculations.
• Prepare schedules and support external accountants during audits.
• Assist in improving financial systems, reporting processes, and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with company data security policies.
• Provide timely updates and reporting to the Senior Accountants and Finance Director.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • With more exposure with Australian taxation and Bookkeeping
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ proven accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Xero (mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently, follow processes, and collaborate with remote teams.
