Accountant (With gst knowledge)

The role

We're looking for a full-time Accountant to own our books end to end. You'll handle day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, and financial reporting for a growing D2C business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally
• Record and reconcile all sales, purchases, expenses and bank transactions
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle GST reconciliation
• Manage input tax credit tracking and vendor GST compliance
• Handle TDS deductions, quarterly returns and Form 16/16A issuance
• Reconcile e-commerce payment gateway settlements (Razorpay, Shopflo) and COD remittances
• Process payroll and maintain statutory records
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements
• Coordinate with our CA for audits and statutory filings
• Maintain inventory and cost records

Preferred

• Experience with e-commerce or D2C businesses
• Familiarity with payment gateway and marketplace reconciliation
