Accountant/Bookkeeper

About the role

Full-time, office-based Accountant/Bookkeeper role handling bookkeeping and accounting for an Australian business. The role is based in Dumaguete.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts payable and receivable
• Bank and credit-card reconciliations
• Payroll management
• P&L and balance-sheet preparation
• GST and BAS/IAS compliance
• PAYG and Australian payroll processing
• Superannuation management
• Xero accounting software management

About you

• 2–3+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Accounting/Finance degree
• Prior Australian accounting/bookkeeping experience strongly preferred
• Strong Xero experience
• GST and BAS/IAS knowledge
• PAYG and Australian payroll knowledge
• Superannuation knowledge
• Good Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently
